About the Department

Liberty Road Volunteer Fire Company was founded in 1947. The 27 square mile radius communities we serve include Randallstown, Harrisonville, Owings Mills, New Town, Granite, Woodstock & Marriottsville. Our goal is to minimize the loss of life and damage to property from the effects of fire, medical emergencies and hazardous conditions with passion and commitment. We are proud to serve our community with quality people that personally give so much back to the community.

Why Liberty Road Volunteer Fire Company?

We realize that firefighting or EMS is not for everyone, but volunteering has it’s rewards. The sense of accomplishment you feel when someone is rescued is immeasurable. The bottom line is we could tell a great story about how LRVFC is better than the rest, but we won’t. What we will tell you is, being a volunteer Firefighter or EMT is one of the best decisions you will ever make and we welcome you to join us in the fight to continue saving lives while enjoying it!
