Beltsville VFD is rich in history. We are a fast-paced department located in northern Prince George’s County. We operate an engine company, a truck company, and a BLS ambulance that serves the Beltsville, Calverton, and Vansville communities. We also respond to the surrounding areas of Laurel, Greenbelt, College Park, and throughout the County as needed. There is also mutual aide response to the Montgomery County areas of Silver Spring and Burtonsville. Our response areas include residential (single and multi-family) commercial, industrial, interstate highways, and State and Federal government facilities.

At our department, there is opportunity for advancement through the ranks as you gain experience and training. We have private rooms available for our live-ins. The station is located a convenient distance to Capitol College and the University of Maryland, College Park, home to the Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute. We are within driving distance of Prince George’s, Howard, and Montgomery Community Colleges.
